ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Nicole Johnson, and I am a CAPPA-trained labor doula. I live in Des Moines with my husband and daughter. I found my passion for childbirth and motherhood through the birth of my daughter and my experience as a mom.

I am passionate about helping families understand informed consent and active participation in pregnancy and the birth of their baby. My job is to educate and support each member of your family, so you can confidently navigate through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I focus on education, preparation, and presence. With these three pillars, a well-supported mother can have a positive pregnancy and birth experience.

I can’t overstate the value that birth and after-birth support brings to the wellness of the mother. As a doula, I come to serve. As a mother, I know first hand how important it is to feel supported, and my only goal is to leave women thriving in their new rhythms of life.

It would be a true honor to accompany you through the most intimate & life changing experience.
